Saint Nicholas Perler Bead Project
St. Nicholas was a bishop known for his holiness, miracles, and service to the poor. There are many legends about his selfless spirit and generous heart.
Here is a fun, yet simple, bead project as we honor the feast of St. Nicholas!
Click on the image below to print the template.
To make this project, you will need:
- the template above
- 1 large, square peg board
- 1 sheet of Perler bead ironing paper or parchment paper (enough to cover board)
- Perler beads:
37 yellow
17 flesh colored
60 white
3 black
31 brown
274 red - an iron
Print out the template (above) and slip it beneath your peg board. Once you have assembled your St. Nicholas, cover your project with the ironing paper (or parchment paper) and melt with an iron. Melt the beads together until the holes in the beads are nearly closed. Once the beads are stuck together and have cooled, remove the project from the board.
To make your St. Nicholas stand up, use the stand template below.
Again, use perler bead ironing paper or parchment paper when melting the beads together. Once your two stands have cooled completely, slide your St. Nicholas into the stands.
Put your St. Nicholas in a place of honor in your home!
St. Nicholas, pray for us!
